Job Overview: Memcyco seeks a skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst to join our dynamic security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting on emerging cyber threats. This role is critical in helping our clients understand the cyber threat landscape and take proactive measures to protect their assets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Threat Analysis:
   • Monitor and analyze cyber threat data from various sources.
   • Identify emerging threats and assess their potential impact on clients.
   • Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber attacks and threat actors.
2. Intelligence Gathering:
   • Collect and analyze data from open-source intelligence (OSINT), proprietary tools, and industry reports.
   • Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather relevant intelligence.
   • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the cyber threat landscape.
3. Reporting:
   • Produce detailed threat intelligence reports and briefings for clients and internal stakeholders.
   • Provide actionable intelligence to support proactive defense measures.
   • Develop and deliver presentations on threat trends and mitigation strategies.
4. Incident Response Support:
   • Assist in the investigation and response to cyber incidents.
   • Provide threat intelligence to support incident response activities.
   • Collaborate with incident response teams to understand and counter threats.
5. Research and Development:
   • Research new and emerging threats, attack techniques, and tools.
   • Develop and maintain threat intelligence methodologies and tools.
   • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CTI program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
• Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and other security technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, GIAC, or CISSP are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Familiarity with industry-standard threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, etc.).
• Experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) environment.
